Full Category A Motorcycle Licence age 21 to 23

You've already taken the A2 test and after 2 years want to get on a larger bike.

Your route to getting the category A motorcycle licence if your minimum age is between 21 and 23 years. You can take this test at age 24+.


  • Hold a drivivg licence.
  • You must already have a full motorcycle Category A2 licence for at least 2 years.
  • Take the module 1 and 2 practical tests on a an unrestricted motorcycle (above 595cc)


  • A motorcycle theory test is not required.
  • A CBT certificate is not required.
